We created a Firefox extension to help blind people with CAPTCHAs and image translation! It adds a contextual menu item, so just right click on any image and "Send to CAPTCHA Killer". A new window will popup and display the result. This is very beta - but maybe it will help some of you out there!

Install Firefox Extension

This is compatible with FireVox - screen reader for Firefox

Hi. as other people have said on this site, i can't get the firefox extension working, i get a message saying file size = 0. is captchakiller.com still a working site? or should i give it up as dead? as a while back i also tried contacting the admins on another issue and got no assistance from them.

no joke here, but those of us that have suffered from head injuries find captcha to be a real pain also...

as you recover it is tough enough to learn how to read and speak again. it is really frustrating to feel "locked out" because your mind now has to really work had to figure out the new symbols in all the colors. then by the time you complete it, you took too long and have to start all over again...

i am fortunate in that i have been having a rapid recovery. many others are not as lucky.

there are many that will be completely locked out of social networks, purchasing online, and all other areas that captcha is being implemented.

cheers and keep up the good work!

Excellent post above, yes, captcha is without a doubt one of the worst ideas ever. It just hurts a lot of netizens.

I tried to install the Firefox extension, but I don't think it worked. I got sent into a window with a bunch of script language, and it just sat there. Nothing happened, no dialog boxes telling me that an extension had been installed, nothing. What's up with that?

I tried the extension again, and found a "send to" on the image context menu, but no "Send to captcha killer" What's up?
